GED Academy

The GED Academy program includes group academic support for all five GED subject areas, in addition to the self-paced online coursework through GED Academy.

GED Subject Areas:

Mathematical Reasoning (Math)
Reasoning Through Language Arts (Reading & Writing)
Science
Social Studies
Test-taking strategies and study skills

Math tutoring is included as part of GED Academy support. Students enrolled in GED Academy can receive help with math along with the other GED subjects during scheduled group support sessions.

This academic support is in addition to the self-paced GED Academy online coursework.

GED Academy Support Sessions

Schedule:

Tuesday and Thursday – 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Format: Hybrid

Students can choose to:

Attend in person, or
Log in via Zoom

These are group support sessions, not one-on-one tutoring.
Support is provided across all five GED subject areas.
Participants should only attend the hour they are enrolled in
Tutoring hours are separate and not automatically included with GED enrollment

Math Tutoring Service

In addition to GED Academy, we are offering a separate math tutoring service for people of all ages who are not enrolled in the GED Academy or who want additional math help outside of GED group sessions.

Key points:

Math Tutoring (All Ages)
Separate from GED Academy enrollment
Can be in person or online
Group or scheduled tutoring only (no drop-ins)

GED Academy students already receive math support as part of their program, so this separate math tutoring is for non-GED clients or additional support beyond GED group sessions.
